Abstract

Cette communication montre les apports de l'économie publique à la problématique de la multifonctionnalité. La nature économique des services rendus par l'agriculture est encore très mal étudiée. Pourtant, c'est en connaissant cette nature économique qu'il est possible de mettre en place des politiques publiques permettant de maximiser le bien-être social. Si les aspects d'offre de multifonctionnalité sont mal connus, les aspects de demande le sont encore plus. La pêche récréative est fortement liée aux attributs agricoles ce qui en fait un exemple d'étude empirique particulièrement intéressant. L'étude de la demande de pêche récréative doit permettre d'analyser, de façon quantitative et qualitative, la demande de services fournis par l'agriculture. Elle doit également permettre de fournir des éléments concernant les politiques publiques à mettre en place pour maximiser le bien-être social lié à ces pêcheries.
