Abstract

En matière de gestion des ressources vivantes aquatiques, la plupart des écrits théoriques portant sur l'économie des pêches font référence à la notion de rente pour designer le surplus monétaire dégagé par l'activité de production. Cet article tente de resituer la notion de rente et de profit en matière d'exploitation des ressources halieutiques à la lumière des acquis des différentes écoles de pensée. Cela permet de mieux répondre aux questions posées à l'économiste en matière d'aménagement des ressources naturelles renouvelables.
