Abstract

This work is part of a research program that looks at assistance for potential entrepreneurs and mutual understanding between those potential entrepreneurs and the partners, natural or legal persons, who assist them in starting up or buying out a business. The present study is a preliminary step and is exploratory in nature. it attempts to measure and compare the perceptions of entrepreneurs and professionals in business venturing, regarding the concepts of entrepreneur and entrepreneurship. Do the actors involved see and think of the phenomenon of entrepreneurship in the same way? Are there differences in regard to these themes is one means of improving mutual understanding between entrepreneurs and certain of their service-providing partners, which could likely lead to increasing the efficiency of the mechanisms for assistance.
