Abstract

La nature des capacités organisationnelles de l'entreprise aurait un impact sur ses alliances en jouant notamment sur la taille du réseau (nombre d'alliés). Selon le phénomène de path dependency, le développement de nouvelles capacités organis ationnelles nécessaires à la gestion d'une alliance serait fonction des capacités actuelles de l'entreprise, notamment de leur proximité. Cinq hypothèses, correspondant à cinq capacités organisationnelles différentes, sont testées sur un échantillon de 2120 PMI françaises. Certaines des capacités organisationnelles retenues ont un impact sur le nombre de partenaires. Les principales conséquences de ce résultat pour comprendre les alliances et les réseaux d'entreprises sont mises en évidence.
