Abstract

Within French ‘poles of competitiveness', partnering innovation projects gather professionals from small business, large companies and public laboratories belonging to the same territory. How are those innovation projects managed when the actors are so different? How are coordination and cooperation achieved in this particular context? This article proposes a conceptual frame based on networks and collaborative project management. Two projects are analyzed, belonging to the same cluster. They indicate the variety of situations and management practices, and help to point out the necessity to mobilize new managerial and human levers.
