Abstract

L'existence de réseaux sociaux ne fait aucun doute : il existe, à l'intérieur des groupes et des organisations, des relations sur lesquelles les individus s'appuient pour accéder à certaines ressources. On analyse souvent leur caractère plus ou moins formel. Cette communication soutient que ces réseaux peuvent se développer et exister de façon non seulement informelle mais également de façon non-consciente, à l'insu pratiquement de leurs membres. Les résultats de cette recherche montrent clairement que les critères d'attribution d'une valeur socioprofessionnelle à un individu par ses pairs ne relèvent pas toujours des mêmes normes. Dans certains réseaux, cette valeur reste essentiellement influencée par les performances techniques ; dans d'autres, ce sont les compétences sociales qui favorisent l'accès à la notoriété, voire aux promotions.
