Abstract

Pour que les entreprises puissent exister dans la mondialisation, les politiques publiques de développement économique ont mis l'accent sur l'innovation, la compétitivité et la structuration territoriale des processus les conduisant à innover. Nombre d'agences locales de développement se sont tournées vers le soutien et la mise en place de dispositifs d'appui et de facilitation. De ce point de vue, l'initiative French Tech lancée en France en 2013 pose la question de la valorisation et des effets d'entrainement que pourraient apporter ce type de politique publique sur le renforcement du lien entreprises-territoires d'une part, et sur leur résistance à une compétition internationale accrue. Entre outil de communication et de visibilité vers l'extérieur, et alibi pour fédérer les acteurs du territoire en (re)constituant l'écosystème des start-ups françaises, les résultats d'une telle politique récente sont ici interrogés à partir de la grille de lecture des proximités.
