Abstract

Les avantages de la modélisation au niveau individuel ne sont plus à démontrer. Dans le domaine des biens durables, et, plus généralement, des produits décrits par un mélange d'attributs fonctionnels et d'attributs hédonistes, le modèle d'attitude offre, pour les auteurs, des perspectives plus intéressantes que celles de l'analyse conjointe, notamment lorsqu'il s'agit des produits réels et non de concepts de produits. Mais le développement de modèles de simulation des choix individuels s'appuyant sur le modèle d'attitude s'est longtemps heurté au problème de l'estimation des paramètres, dans la mesure où le système est en général suridentifié. Les auteurs proposent une solution à ce problème, intégrée à un modèle d'explication et de simulation des choix individuels, et l'appliquent au marché automobile allemand.
