La contribution d'une sémiotique structurale à la conception d'un hypermarché

Abstract

L'auteur rend compte d'une étude du discours des clients de la zone de chalandise correspondant à un futur hypermarché de 7 500 m2 de la proche banlieue lyonnaise; il montre comment la reconnaissance des différents types de valeurs que les consommateurs attribuent à cet espace commercial a pu servir à l'établissement de son zoning et à la définition de son architecture intérieure. Cette étude sémiotique relève d'une approche structurale, telle qu'elle est développée aujourd'hui par le Groupe de Recherches sémiolinguistiques dirigé par le Pr A. J. Greimas.
