Abstract

Les instruments des politiques d'environnement se sont récemment enrichis d'instruments informationnels, dont l'écolabellisation des produits. On pose la question de sa complémentarité avec les instruments réglementaires et économiques. Après avoir identifié certaines limites de ces instruments susceptibles d'être dépassées par l'écolabel, on analyse les conditions de son efficacité. Les produits agro-alimentaires étant exclus de la plupart des programmes gouvernementaux d'écolabellisation, on discute les raisons de cette décision.
