Abstract

Les céréales et tourteaux d'oléagineux présentent une importance considérable aussi bien dans l'Union européenne (UE) que dans l'ensemble des pays d'Europe centrale et orientale (PECO). Ces deux zones ont en commun un très fort déficit en protéines alors qu'elles sont toutes deux équilibrées voire excédentaires en céréales. Le marché mondial approvisionné par les pays d'Amérique du Nord et du Sud sont leurs principaux fournisseurs, surtout en soja, cependant les échanges entre les deux zones se sont fortement développés au cours des dix dernières années, les PECO fournissant surtout des graines de tournesol et de colza à l'UE et l'UE des tourteaux de soja à ces pays. Une certaine complémentarité entre ces deux zones semble donc intéressante dans l'avenir pour les deux partenaires.
