AGE assessment of CAP reform : implications of policy modeling choices

Abstract

Les résultats de simulation donnés par les modèles économiques sont souvent différents, parfois même fortement contrastés. Il est largement reconnu dans la littérature que de nombreux facteurs peuvent expliquer ces différences. Dans ce contexte, l'objectif de cet article est de souligner l'importance de la modélisation des instruments de politique agricole pour l'évaluation des impacts potentiels de la réforme Agenda 2000 de la Politique agricole commune. Il est montré que non seulement cette modélisation des instruments est déterminante mais qu'une spécification fine des technologies de production des secteurs d'activité doit accompagner l'effort de modélisation.
