De l'importance du maintien de la préférence communautaire pour l'agriculture française. Une illustration à l'aide du modèle MEGAAF

Abstract

Deux scénarios de suppression des mesures de soutien interne dans le secteur français des céréales et des oléoprotéagineux (COP), avec ou sans maintien de la préférence communautaire, sont simulés avec MEGAAF. Une modélisation du bloc des importations de céréales issues des pays tiers permettant de représenter explicitement la protection des marchés céréaliers européens est proposée. Les résultats montrent que la contraction de l'activité du secteur des COP est beaucoup plus limitée quand la préférence communautaire est maintenue et que sa suppression pourrait remettre en cause l'indépendance céréalière de la France.
