Abstract

Dans une phase de recherche de soi, les repères sont plus flous, plus pragmatiques. La jeunesse est aussi, pour certains, le temps d'une redéfinition d'une foi plus personnelle. Cette présentation s'appuie sur une exploitation de tous les sondages effectués en France, en particulier l'enquête sur les valeurs des européens de 1990, et le sondage CSA-Le Monde-La Vie de 1994. Quatre tendances dominantes se dégagent : une baisse importante de l'intégration chrétienne, une relativisation des croyances, une poussée des croyances parallèles et une redéfinition du christianisme en terme d'épanouissement terrestre.
