Abstract

L'achèvement précoce de la scolarité chez les jeunes ruraux ne s'accompagne pas d'un départ du domicile des parents : toutes les formes intermédiaires d'installation dans la vie adulte - vie en solitaire, concubinage, partage d'un logement entre amis - sont nettement moins répandues en milieu rural que dans les classes moyennes urbaines. Si les filles quittent leur famille plus tôt que les garçons, c'est le plus souvent pour se marier. Mais les comportements paraissent plus dictés par les conditions matérielles que par un attachement aux valeurs tradiitionnelles.
