Abstract

Le langage propose un formalisme pour dégager des propriétés structurelles et exprimer de façon non ambiguë le contenu sémantique de textes dont la fonction est de décrire des documents au sens large : publications, bases de données, logiciels, graphiques, images... Mado est aussi une traduction informatique d'une modélisation bâtie à partir de la théorie des langages formels. Le prototype actuellement disponible compile des descriptions de documents, vérifie la conformité au modèle et rend une représentation normalisée.
