Abstract

Les jeunes s'éloignent inexorablement du christianisme, comme le montrent de nombreux colloques et enquêtes qui permettent de dégager quatre tendances principales : un effritement de l'intégration chrétienne, un glissement vers le relativisme et le probabilisme, une progression des croyances parallèles, et, pour une partie des jeunes, une redéfinition "mondaine" du christianisme. Or ni les médias, ni les responsables laïques, n'ont vraiment regardé cette réalité en face et pris la mesure de ses conséquences (mémoire des grandes traditions, repères éthiques des jeunes, transmission des valeurs).
