Abstract

Les plans de gestion piscicole favorisent la reproduction naturelle et le maintien des populations sauvages. Ils s'appuient sur des opérations d'aménagement du milieu dont il convient d'évaluer la rentabilité sociale. Ce qui conduit à estimer la valeur du poisson sauvage qui intègre deux composantes principales : une valeur d'usage liée à la pratique de la pêche et une valeur d'existence qui n'intéresse pas les seuls pêcheurs mais une population plus vaste. Cette contribution porte sur l'évaluation des bénéfices des pêcheurs et s'intéresse aux bénéfices potentiels engendrés par la présence de poissons sauvages. S'inscrivant donc dans un contexte d'évaluation ex ante, elle s'appuie sur la méthode d'évaluation contingente. Le consentement à payer (CAP) estimé est compris entre 50 F et 100 F, un calcul simple montre alors que les bénéfices des pêcheurs engendrés par les plans de gestion piscicole sont du même ordre que la valeur annuelle des amortissements des travaux de restauration du milieu.
