Abstract

Les auteurs s'attachent dans ce rapport, après un bref rappel de la méthodologie adoptée pour la réalisation de cette étude, à examiner brièvement les principales caractéristiques de l'agriculture dans chacun des pays étudiés avant d'évaluer l'ampleur du phénomène, son évolution et les caractéristiques des principales catégories d'exploitations concernées; L'examen des différents traitements mis en œuvre pour répondre aux problèmes posés par les agriculteurs en situation difficile est ensuite abordé en replaçant ces interventions au sein de leur environnement économique et juridique. En conclusion, les principales évolutions constatées au cours des dix dernières années dans chacun des pays étudiés sont soulignées et le problème des agriculteurs en difficulté est resitué dans le cadre plus global de l'évolution de la P.A.C. et des politiques agricoles nationales.
