Abstract

Le concept de distance fait l'objet de nombreuses recherches notamment dans le champ du management international. Toutefois, les résultats disponibles connaissent de fortes divergences en raison de nombreuses incohérences relatives à la conceptualisation de la distance qui reste peu homogène. Cet article contribue à mieux comprendre le développement international de l'entreprise par le concept de distance. Pour appréhender ce concept, il propose un cadre conceptuel constitué d'une combinaison de variables macro et micro qui prend en compte la nature multidimensionnelle, subjective et évolutive de la distance.
