Abstract

Dans un contexte d'ouverture des marchés, de nombreuses entreprises ont noué des Joint-Ventures Internationales (JVI) dans le but de pénétrer de nouveaux marchés. Malgré une euphorie pour ce mode de coopération, il demeure risqué avec un niveau de performance hétérogène. Dans le cadre de cet article, nous présentons, dans un premier temps, une synthèse de la littérature sur les déterminants de la performance des joint-ventures. Par la suite, nous nous intéressons aux facteurs de réussite des JVI créées par un groupe opérant dans le secteur événementiel, à savoir, GL events. L'analyse de ces facteurs montre l'influence de l'environnement interne (la compatibilité des objectifs, la confiance et la structure du capital) et externe (la culture nationale et la profitabilité de l'industrie) sur la réussite de ces stratégies coopératives.
