Abstract

Pour devenir un acteur économique de premier plan et ne plus se limiter au rôle d'« atelier du monde », la Chine oriente sa croissance vers les technologies de pointe et la création d'un vaste tissu de PME. Ses investissements récents dans le domaine des nanotechnologies s'inscrivent dans cette démarche.Cet ouvrage analyse les raisons de ce repositionnement et les défis éducatifs, économiques, entrepreneuriaux et industriels qu'il représente. Il montre aussi la profonde redistribution des cartes qu'il impose entre le centre politique et les régions, ainsi que les tensions engendrées par ces dynamiques de modernisation et la domination inchangée du Parti communiste.
