Abstract

L'effet positif de la formation sur la productivité des agents économiques justifie, pour l'administration, l'affectation croissante des ressources publiques à ce chapitre. Cette hypothèse s'appuie, entre autres, sur la théorie du capital humain. Qu'en est-il dans le secteur agricole ? Cet article tente d'y répondre, en comparant le niveau de formation des agriculteurs et la rentabilité économique des exploitations de quatre pays : le Royaume-Uni, la France, l'Italie et la Pologne.
