Abstract

Localisée à une centaine de kilomètre de l'extrémité méridionale de la péninsule coréenne,l'île de Cheju a connu un développement touristique récent et rapide. Ce territoire insulaire est sorti d'un séculaire isolement pour s'ouvrir sur l'économie mondiale. Avant d'aborder les mécanismes de la mise en tourisme de Chejudo, il convient de préciser que la nouvelle organisation territoriale qui découle de cette dernière fonction du territoire s'inscrit dans un contexte historique particulièrement chargé...
