Abstract

Le tourisme à la ferme fait l'objet d'un intérêt croissant, tant de la part des médias que des élus, en cette période de crise que traversent de nombreuses zones rurales où dominaient traditionnellement les activités et les emplois agricoles. En effet, en raison de l'affirmation du secteur touristique dans l'économie et des nouvelles attentes des clientèles urbaines en quête de verdure, d'authenticité et de qualité, il semble qu'il y ait une "opportunité à saisir" pour les agriculteurs confrontés à une remise en cause de leur mode de production, de leur mode de vie. Après les décennies de travail vouées à l'intensification et à la spécialisation, les difficultés actuelles imposent à nombre d'agriculteurs des stratégies de diversification susceptibles d'apporter de nouvelles sources de revenus...
