Abstract

Analyse comparative des politiques de développement économique local dans les villes moyennes en France et en Grande-Bretagne, à travers l'étude des cas de Coventry et de Rennes. La 1ère partie est une analyse des politiques du gouvernement central, des tendances des politiques de développement économique local, des restructurations économiques et spatiales liées à la crise et du rôle des facteurs sociaux locaux. La 2ème partie met en évidence les facteurs qui déterminent la politique de développement économique dans les deux villes et montre l'importance du jeu des acteurs politiques et sociaux locaux.
