La Société Coopérative et Participative : Outil de gestion pour l'entrepreneur social ou une nouvelle hypocrisie managériale ?

Abstract

Par son statut offrant un mécanisme de gouvernance original émanant de la pensée socialiste utopique, la Société Coopérative et Participative (SCOP) est traditionnellement présentée comme le lieu de la réduction des déséquilibres informationnels entre les membres de l'organisation. Elles devraient donc offrir un mode pertinent, voire idéal, de direction pour l'entrepreneur social soucieux de garantir le pouvoir décisionnel des salariés de l'entreprise. L'objet de ce papier est de chercher à savoir si cet objectif de gouvernance sociale est toujours réalisé ou bien si, et plus précisément, il est possible d'observer des pratiques déviantes. En l'occurrence, notre terrain qualitatif montrera de possibles effets paradoxaux. Il est notamment observé des situations au sein de certaines SCOP conduisant à s'interroger, suivant une démarche critique, sur l'emploi potentiel de ce statut à des fins de domination, à l'opposée des intentions originelles.
