Abstract

Ce livre de gestion avait disparu depuis 1869, année de sa publication. Nous l'avons retrouvé à la Bibliothèque de Bâle (Suisse) et nous en avons fait une réédition scientifique. L'auteur a utilisé un pseudonyme et était un expert-comptable spécialisé sur les grandes organisations de l'époque. Ses exemples décrivent l'industrie des limes. C'est un ouvrage important pour comprendre l'esprit des gestionnaires avant la guerre de 1870 et la montée de l'influence allemande sur les organisations françaises.
