Abstract

Le concept de rente élaboré et mis en oeuvre pour les pays de la région MENA allie une définition sommaire de la rente, comme revenu extérieur, à la théorie de l'État néo-patrimonial. Si la science politique emprunte largement à l'économie la notion de rente à travers la théorie de l'État rentier, l'économie elle-même n'y a recours que de manière modérée. Une remise en cause de cette théorie s'impose.
