Abstract

Except a few exceptions, the economic theory did not seize the question of the conflictness. A hypothesis can be formulated as for the motives for this omission which characterizes structurally the economic analysis: unlike other central concepts as competition, resources allocation, equilibrium, rationality, or utility, the content of the notion of conflict is a priori difficult to encircle and to problematize, notably towards nearby notions as the dissension or the differences of interests. But, especially, the idea of conflict has, at least a priori, a social connotation: the conflict is a social phenomenon the consideration of which supposes a sociological point of view. The article studies at first the reasons of a missing dialogue between economic theory and the question of the conflicts. In the second part of the paper, we investigate the analysis of conflict behaviours within spatial economic theories. The conclusion puts in light some research perspectives.
