Abstract

Beaucoup de pays développés font actuellement face au vieillissement de leur population. Ce vieillissement, dont la cause est le ralentissement de la croissance démographique et l'allongement de l'espérance de vie, aura tendance à s'accentuer au cours des prochaines décennies. De plus, l'ampleur de ce phénomène tient au fait qu'il concerne la population active. Ceci suscite beaucoup d'inquiétudes face aux déséquilibres que cette situation pourrait entraîner dans les systèmes publics de la société (finances publiques, retraite, gestion des flux migratoires, etc.), ces derniers ayant été conçus pour des sociétés en plein essor démographique
