Abstract

Originaires d'une caractérisation forgée dans les années 1980, les « émergents » et leurs leaders, les BRICS peuvent être aujourd'hui reconsidérés et requalifiés au prisme d'une approche institutionnaliste, plus propice à l'étude de leur diversité. En accordant une attention toute particulière aux régulations sur le marché du travail, perçu comme l'expression d'un compromis social, nous développons une analyse centrée sur le rôle de la qualité de l'emploi (QdE) au sein des formes spécifiques d'« émergence ». Ainsi révisée d'un point de vue institutionnel et multidimensionnel, cette catégorie se disperse et se recompose pour établir quatre modèles spécifiques de QdE, illustran la variété des formes des « émergents » à travers les régimes d'emploi. Confirmés par diverses approches en économie politique, nos résultats proviennent d'un échantillon de vingt-neuf pays que nous avons soumis successivement à une Analyse en Composantes Principales (ACP) suivie d'une Classification mixte sur facteurs à travers quatorze indicateurs de qualité d'emploi.
