Abstract

En 2003 le PIB nippon a crû de 2,5 %. La croissance s'est accélérée au quatrième trimestre 2003 (+ 3,5 % en glissement annuel) et, au premier trimestre 2004, le taux de croissance a touché son point haut depuis 1990 (+ 5,1 % en glissement). Au deuxième trimestre, le PIB en volume a ralenti (+ 0,3 % en variation trimestrielle), alors que le PIB en valeur a diminué – 0,5 %) pour la première fois après quatre trimestres consécutifs de croissance positive.
