Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the concept of logistics integration into a multi-actor supply chain within the multinational company Renault Trucks, subsidiary of Volvo Group. On one hand, through a dysfunctional analysis performed on 29 semi-structured interviews, we illustrate the main challenges that a multinational company faces in managing intra- and inter-organizational connections. On the other hand, in an international context, we show that one of the key factors of logistics integration into a multi-actor supply chain lies in having self-sufficient skilled partners.
