Abstract

Cet article propose d'étudier les relations entre un ensemble de variables comptables et financières et le crédit bancaire des PME françaises du secteur TIC. L'étude porte sur un échantillon de 539 PME années scindé en deux sous-échantillons : le entreprises du sous-secteur des services et celles du sous-secteur de la production. Deux résultats sont à mettre en exergue : une relation négative entre la tangibilité des actifs et l'endettement bancaire, et une relation positive entre la taille de l'entreprise et les dettes bancaires uniquement pour les entreprises du sous-secteur de la production. Nous constatons que la tangibilité des actifs ne semble pas être une condition suffisante à l'octroi de crédit bancaire à long terme, alors que la taille joue bien son rôle de réduction des asymétries d'information entre les prêteurs et les emprunteurs.
