Prévenir les accidents du travail dans le monde de l'intérim

Abstract

Si le nombre d'accidents du travail a considérablement diminué ces trente dernières années en France, les intérimaires restent une population particulièrement touchée par le risque d'accidentabilité. À l'insécurité de l'emploi caractérisant le monde de l'intérim, il ne faut pas omettre l'insécurité au travail. La question qui se pose est de savoir dans quelle mesure la sur-accidentabilité des intérimaires constitue une fatalité. S'appuyant sur une base de données de 260 accidents au travail d'une agence d'intérim généraliste et sur 25 entretiens semi-directifs d'intérimaires ayant connu un accident du travail, cette étude montre la nécessité de replacer le phénomène d'accidentabilité dans le contexte de l'organisation du travail et de la dynamique des relations professionnelles, nébuleuses qui ne sont pas dépourvues de conséquences sur les attitudes des intérimaires face aux consignes de sécurité.
