Abstract

Souhaiter étudier " la diversité des agricultures " suppose d'avoir au préalable établi la conception que l'on a de l'agriculture et la question à laquelle on souhaite répondre afin de choisir les catégories pertinentes. L'étude vise à décrire et comprendre les processus par lesquels une agriculture d'exportation très intensive en capital, main d'œuvre et intrants, telle que la production de fleurs fraîches coupées de climat tempéré, s'est rapidement développée sur des structures latifundiaires autour de Quito en Équateur dans les années 1990, simultanément au maintien et aux mutations d'une agriculture familiale manuelle.
