Abstract

La théorie des options est, depuis les années 1980, utilisée en sciences de gestion pour mieux analyser les problématiques de prise de décisions stratégiques dans différents domaines : entrepreneuriat, innovation, développement international des firmes, coopération interentreprises, etc. L'usage de cet outil théorique nécessite quelques précautions. Afin d'être certain que ses conditions d'application sont respectées et que les résultats seront correctement interprétés, les auteurs proposent ici une typologie qui doit aider les chercheurs en management stratégique à examiner comment la théorie des options peut éventuellement leur être utile pour leurs travaux.
