Abstract

Le Bangladesh n'est pas ce que vous croyez : ainsi pourrait-on résumer le livre de Monique Selim, une ethnologue qui a mené l'enquête sur la filiale de Dhaka d'une multinationale américaine de produits pharmaceutiques. Récusant la vision trop simpliste d'un pays condamné au sousdéveloppement, l'auteur nous montre que les Bangladeshis peuvent prendre en main leur destin et échafauder, dans une entreprise comme ailleurs, de remarquables capacités stratégiques.
