Abstract

According to Aoki [86], a firm's organisational choice depends on the product market instability. In order to assess the macroeconomic consequences of this statement, we embed a tradeoff between reactivity and production process effi ciency into a model of growth through creative destruction. General equilibrium analysis outlines macroeconomic strategic complementarities, who generate mul tiple equilibria. In particular, we find that a rise in the skilled labour supply may increase the skill premium.
