Abstract

L'ouvrage est organisé en trois parties : la première est consacrée à l'examen de la théorie non coopérative des jeux ; la deuxième se sert des outils développés dans la première partie pour ordonner et exposer la vaste gamme des modèles qui incorporent des asymétries d'information dans le chef des agents (aléa moral, sélection adverse, conception de mécanismes révélateurs, signal et filtrage) ; la troisième traite en profondeur plusieurs thèmes propres à l'économie de l'information, tels le marchandage, les enchères, la fixation des prix en concurrence imparfaite et l'entrée sur les marchés. Écrit dans un style accessible et direct, cet ouvrage s'adresse principalement aux étudiants des 1er et 2e cycles en économie et en gestion. II constitue également un instrument de travail appréciable pour tous les doctorants, chercheurs et professeurs à la recherche d'une vue d'ensemble sur l'économie de l'information et ses applications.
