Abstract

Dans leurs stratégies et pratiques de développement, les acteurs, traditionnels ou nouveaux, s'affirment et s'engagent sur divers champs (filières industrielles, gestion de l'eau, domaine de la santé...). De quelles capacités d'action disposent-ils ? Quelles stratégies de développement prônent-ils ? Dans quelle mesure la pluralité et la diversité des expériences locales, nationales ou régionales peuvent-elles contribuer au renouvellement des modèles de développement ? Comment le rôle de l'Etat se redéfinit-il et pour quelles formes de gouvernance ? Quels sont les acteurs qui s'affirmeront face aux défis de la gouvernance des biens publics mondiaux (environnement, éducation, santé, etc.) ? Trois entrées thématiques structurent l'ouvrage : la montée en puissance de la société civile, le rôle des acteurs dans le développement et leurs implications dans la gouvernance des biens publics mondiaux.
