Abstract

Se situant dans le contexte des restructurations en Europe communautaire, cet ouvrage a pour ambition d'explorer à la fois l'accès à l'information et les moyens d'action dont disposent les salariés et leurs représentants pour peser sur les décisions des dirigeants de multinationales. Il se veut une analyse croisée de la question : croisement entre pays, croisement entre disciplines (économie et différentes branches du droit), croisement entre droit positif et réflexion théorique. Après une analyse générale et pluridisciplinaire du sujet, des rapports nationaux sur les deux opérations essentielles des restructurations en droit du travail (transfert d'entreprise et licenciements collectifs), suivis de synthèses, permettent d'apprécier les zones communes, mais aussi les différences qui perdurent entre les pays concernés. La conclusion propose constats, perspectives et pistes de réflexion pour l'avenir.
