Abstract

Dans le contexte de l'économie du savoir et des nouveaux modes de production qui le caractérisent, le rôle des universités est remis en question. Cette interrogation se présente de façon particulière pour les écoles de gestion dont l'identité est ambiguë. Les auteurs pensent que les nombreuses critiques qui visent les écoles de gestion proviennent de tensions entre les identités multiples qu'affichent ces écoles. La réponse des écoles de gestion a ces critiques est souvent d'accentuer le développement de cette identité multiforme. Selon les auteurs, ces écoles risquent ainsi l'implosion et gagneraient a adopter une stratégie de rééquilibrage et de consolidation.
