Abstract

Die Initiative sei ein guter Start gewesen, meint Frieder Meyer-Krahmer, zu dessen Aufgabenfeldern forschungspolitische Grundsatzfragen, Neue Technologien und die europäische wie internationale Zusammenarbeit gehören. "Zum einen hat sich eine Gruppe von Akteuren aus Wirtschaft, Politik und Wissenschaft gebildet, die gemeinsam aktiv werden will. Zudem fasst man den Begriff der Innovation jetzt sehr viel breiter." Zur Innovation gehören nicht nur Forschung oder Technologie, sondern auch die passenden Ausbildungsplatzbedingungen, die richtigen Finanzierungsrandbedingungen, der entsprechende regulative Rahmen und geeignete Firmenstrategien. Als weiteren Erfolg wertet der Staatssekretär das wachsende öffentliche Bewusstsein für Innovationen.
