Abstract

Une étude approfondie de la gestion des carrières des cadres à EDF permet à l'auteur de mettre en lumière les contradictions existant entre une logique bzrreazrcratiqzre de I'entreprise fondée sur un ensemble rigide de règles et de procédures et les stratégies individuelles des agents. Il analyse les mécanismes d'adaptation qui permettent un ajustement entre le système de valeurs de l'organisation et les aspirations des individus. Il montre ainsi que, dans un contexte oti la czrlture de l'entreprise est très prégnante, la forte intériorisation des règles en vigueur n'empêche pas les individus d'adopter des stratégies très diversifiées,
