¿Por qué es importante considerar la calidad de los programas sociales en el Perú?

Abstract

El análisis de costo-efectividad de los programas sociales es una herramienta indispensable para el diseño de políticas públicas y el mejoramiento de la calidad del gasto público. Las evaluaciones de impacto permiten conocer de manera objetiva qué programas sociales funcionan y cuáles no, mediante la identificación y estimación de los efectos causales de los programas sobre las variables de interés (esto es, los ingresos laborales).
