Las concesiones de infraestructura en el sector portuario: un balance de la experiencia de Matarani

Abstract

A pesar de la necesidad de modernización e inversiones en el sector portuario, hasta el momento solamente se ha concretado la concesión del puerto de Matarani, que desde 1999 es operado por TISUR S.A. Aunque la evaluación de desempeño del puerto muestra un balance positivo, no todos los grupos involucrados parecen haber sido beneficiados. En el presente artículo se presentan los efectos de la concesión del puerto de Matarani para los diferentes actores involucrados y su efecto total neto para la economía del país.
