Población indígena y exclusión social en el Perú

Abstract

Un reciente estudio de GRADE confirma que el nivel de pobreza extrema entre los indígenas es tres veces más alto que en el resto de la población. Superar el estado de postergación de estos peruanos –que suman alrededor de tres millones y medio de personas– requerirá políticas que, además de incrementar los niveles de bienestar socioeconómico, afronten problemas como la discriminación étnico-cultural, la inoperancia del sistema judicial las limitaciones de cobertura y calidad del sistema educativo.
