La hausse des prix du betail et l'economie de l'elevage au Burkina Faso

Abstract

Depuis les annees 1993-1994 en Afrique de l'Ouest, la hausse des prix des cereales, du betail et des viandes s'inscrit dans une tendance regionale, malgre une ampleur et des rythmes differents. On peut desormais se demander si un nouveau palier est atteint dans le rapport des prix agricoles. Cette evolution pose la question de l'impact des politiques agricoles et economiques sur l'offre des produits concernes, notamment a travers les transformations structurelles de l'agriculture attendues par les programmes de developpement.
